The innovation of combining blockchain technology and AI, B PASS is an innovative service that has been responsible for the digital identity of Busan citizens by applying blockchain-based Decentralized Identity (DID) technology to safely protect personal information.
In particular, during its service operation, B PASS pioneered the adoption of an AI chatbot powered by the latest Large Language Model (LLM) and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) technology to enhance user support. Through this, it provided efficient digital identity management experience by searching and analyzing B PASS-related specialized data in real-time to respond to user questions quickly and accurately.
Service Integration Notice
As of December 2025, the standalone B PASS app service has been discontinued, and the previously provided Busan Citizen ID and public service functions have been integrated into the [Citizen Platform] within the "Busan is Good Dongbaekjeon" app, which encompasses all aspects of life in Busan.
You can now enjoy the services more conveniently through 'Busan is Good Dongbaekjeon', which inherits the technology of B PASS.
